On Thursday, the European Commission, the European Books Publishers Federation (EBF), the European Writers Council (EWC) and the European Sellers' Federation (FEP) announced 12 European writers who will be awarded with prizes in Brussels on September 28.
Famous Swedish writer Henning Mankell has been titled the EU literature premium ambassador.
