VEF Riga takes down Vilnius Rytas in FIBA Champions League

In FIBA Champions League action on Tuesday, Latvian basketball club VEF Riga defeated Lithuanian basketball club Vilnius Rytas 85:81, informs LETA.


Michale Kyser led the way for VEF Riga with 18 points, nine rebounds and four blocked shots, followed by Kyle Allman Jr with 17 points and nine assists.


In the other Group E match yesterday, French club Strasbourg defeated Greek club Peristeri 77:57.


In the Group E standings at the moment, Strasbourg and VEF Riga have two wins and one loss a piece, while Rytas and Peristeri have one win and two losses a piece.


Up next for VEF Riga - a home game on December 23 against Rytas.
