Latvia to face Germany in next round of Federation Cup
Print versioner defeating Slovakia this past weekend, the Latvian women's tennis team will take on Germany in the next round of the Federation Cup informed LETA/BNS.
The matches will be played in Latvia on April 20 and 21.
The winner will advance to World Group I, while the loser will play in World Group II next season.
As reported, Latvia defeated Slovakia 4-0 in it World Group II match-up this past weekend, while Germany lost to Belarus 0-4.
In the other match-ups for promotion to World Group I, the Czech Republic will host Canada, the United States will host Switzerland, while Belgium will host Spain.
Meanwhile, Romania, France, Belarus and Australia have advance to to the semifinals of World Group II.
Last year, the Czech Republic defeated Germany in the Federation Cup finals.
