Gillies re-signs with Dinamo

Canadian forward Colton Gillies has re-signed with Latvian ice hockey club Riga Dinamo, reports LETA/BNS.

The 28-year-old made his Kontinental Ice Hockey League debut for the Latvian club, scoring eight goals and making six assists in 43 matches.

Gillies is a former first-round NHL draft pick, who has played in 154 NHL games in his career.

Dinamo finished in last place in the KHL's Western Conference standings last season and did not qualify for the league playoffs for the third season in a row.
