Znaroks confirmed as head coach, Vitolins assistant coach at St. Petersburg SKA

Olegs Znaroks has been confirmed as the new head coach of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) club St. Petersburg SKA, reports LETA.
The club has signed a two-year contract with Znaroks, who is also the head coach of the Russian national team.
Latvia's Harijs Vitolins, an assistant coach at the Russian national team, will also be assistant coach at St. Petersburg SKA for the next two years.
As reported, Znaroks was replaced by Vitolins as the head coach of Moscow Dynamo in 2014. At the end of the last KHL season, the club also released Vitolins.
Znaroks was the head coach of the Latvian national hockey team from 2006 to 2011. As a player, he competed for the Latvian national team, including as team captain, at four world championships. On the other hand, Vitolins played 110 games for the Latvian national team, scoring 87 points in total.
