"Pa Pa and "Ruch and Norie" take top honors at "Lielais Kristaps 2015"

Director Inara Kolmane's documentary "Ruch and Norie" won four awards and Valerijs Olehno's short film "Pa Pa" three at the 27th "Lielais Kristaps" national film festival in Latvia on Sunday night, reports LETA.
Andris Keiss received the Best Actor's award, and Guna Zarina was honored as the Best Actress.
"Tornis" won the Best Animated Film award, while Best Documentary Adapted for TV went to Henrieta Verhoustinska and Ieva Rozentale's film "Arhitektes kaisliba. Zaiga Gaile" ("Architect's Passion. Zaiga Gaile").
"Kursi" won the Best Short Documentary award, and Ieva Ozolina's "My Six Million Dollar Father" the Debut of the Year award.
Camera operator Miks Zvirbulis accepted the Lifetime Achievement award.
The "Lielais Kristaps" festival has been organized annually by the Latvian Filmmakers Union since 1997.
This year, the festival's program included 87 films – one feature film, 11 documentaries, 21 short films, ten animated films, 18 documentary short films, and 26 documentary films for television.
