There will be the opportunity to visit the in several Latvian cities the concert program “Midnight in Paris” of one of the most elegant and nostalgic singers – Maria Naumova. This program conquered the hearts of the audience already two years ago, informs Kristine Tjarve.

Maria Naumava has called her friends, with whom she has been making music for more than 15 years, as well as the excellent accordionist Francois Paris (France) to the concert program “Midnight in Paris”.

This will be a unique, but still different musical tour through romantic Paris – the singer wants to conjure up France with the help of her music, let the audience feel and enjoy at least a little the charm and elegance of Paris. The visitors of the concert “Midnight in Paris” will be have the opportunity to listen to the beautiful melodies of Paris –very well-known, as well as much less frequently heard.

Concert “Midnight in Paris” will be presented as a musical performance, as Maria Naumova is not only singing, but also telling stories about Paris, about the songs, which are being performed, their occurrence. The concert visitors will be able to enjoy together with Maria Naumova the performance of the great accordionist Francois Paris, which is one of the best performers of this genre in the world. F.Paris has written music for Woody Allen’s movie “Midnight in Paris”. The new compositions, written by Francois Paris and Brigitte Renaud specifically for our singer Marija Naumova, will be performed during the concert.

As Maria Naumova remarks: “This will be definitely a beautiful musical journey through the most romantic city in the world – Paris, which has been home for me for many years. I hope that we will be able to conjure up the beautiful charm and elegance that can be felt in Paris”.

Concerts will be given: 21.08. – Adazu Cultural Center; 22.8- Limbazu Recreation Center; 23.8 – Vidzeme Concert Hall “Cesis”; 28.08. – Aizkraukle Recreation Center; 29.08. – Krustpils Recreation Center in Jekabpils; 30.08.– Concert Hall of Eastern Latvia “Gors” in Rezekne; 31.08. – Kraslava Recreation Center.
