Tallinn Collector is a comprehensive online collection of Soviet Tallinn's tourism memorabilia which makes an acquaintance with Tallinn's remote past, the Tallinn Tourism informed LETA.
The website aims at discovering Tallinn like a tourist back in the USSR, providing a virtual tour of Tallinn through images and texts taken from authentic Soviet tourist guide books and pamphlets. New posts are added daily, including original photographs with related texts taken from guides released between 1935 and 1991.
The website is created by a visitor and a fan of Tallinn to pay homage to the rapidly developing European capital with the intention of providing a fun and entertaining insight to Tallinn's history.
