''VEF Riga'' signs American forward Antywane Robinson

Latvian basketball club ''VEF Riga'' has signed American power-forward Antywane Robinson, the club has announced, LETA cites.
Last season, the 29-year-old Robinson played for Italian Serie A basketball club Brindisi ''Enel'', where he averaged 12.9 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.
After graduating from Temple University, Robinson played several season's in the NBA's D-League before moving to Europe in 2007, playing for clubs in France, Turkey and Italy.
As reported, the 2012/2013 season was the third season in a row that ''VEF Riga'' won the Latvian Basketball League finals, defeating ''Ventspils'' all three times.
