Latvian University’s women's choir takes home first prize in China

The University of Latvia women's choir "Minjona" was awarded the Platinum Medal – the highest rating at the Xinhai Award International Choir Competition in China, informs LETA.
Conductor Romans Vanags and his ladies will take home a EUR 500 cash prize.
He was quick to point out that the rating for "Minjona" is truly high because the competition featured award-winning choirs exclusively.
