Lithuania posts 1.4% avg annual harmonized inflation for October

Print versionLithuania's average annual inflation rate, as measured by the EU Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices (HICP), stood at 1.4% in October, the latest figures from the country's statistics office, Statistics Lithuania, showed on Wednesday, cites LETA/BNS.
The EU-harmonized average annual rate last month was 0.1 percentage points lower than the rate measured by the national CPI, the statistics office said.
The harmonized 12-month inflation rate, at 0.5%, was 0.2 points lower than the CPI rate at 0.7%.

The harmonized monthly inflation rate was close to zero, compared to 0.1% measured by the national index.
