A volunteer food delivery network for people in self-isolation or quarantine has been set up in Latvia
23.03.2020Last week, from 17th to 20th of March, a virtual hackathon HackForce took place with the aim of discovering solutions to the challenges arising from the Corona virus crisis. One of the winners was the #paliecmājās movement– a volunteer network offering deliveries of food and other goods free of charge to those who are in at-risk groups or under home quarantine. Anyone can receive help from #paliecmājās – either by calling 25661991 or by visiting their website at www.paliec-majas.lv.
