M.Dukurs and Tretiakov tie for first place at Skeleton WC stage in Austria

Latvia's Martins Dukurs and Russia's Alexander Tretiakov both crossed the line with the same two-run time of 1:45.52 creating a rare first place tie at Friday's World Cup skeleton event in Innsbruck, informed LETA.

Russia's Nikita Tregubov finished right behind Dukurs and Tretiakov.


Meanwhile, Latvia's Tomass Dukurs finished the stage in overall 10th place.


After the first three stage of the season, M.Dukurs remains in first place in the Skeleton WC standings with 675 points, Germany's Alexander Gassner has 578 points, while Tregubov has 560 points.
