Kalceks pharmaceutical company manufactures products worth EUR 24.6 mln in H1

Kalceks pharmaceutical company in the first six months of this year manufactured products worth EUR 24.6 million, which is by EUR 19.8 million or five times more year-on-year, LETA learned from the company.

In 2019, the company manufactured products worth EUR 18.1 million, growing by EUR 8.1 million from 2018.


In the first six months of this year Kalceks sold its products in Europe, Asia and other countries of the world, with 80% of its exports going to the EU countries.


Kalceks board chairman Egils Kopstals said that Kalceks products are available in Latvia and 53 countries of the world. The company plans to increase the number of Asian partner countries, both Americas.


In 2019, Kalceks turnover amounted to EUR 59.98 million, while the company's profit stood at EUR 1.32 million.


Kalceks was registered in 1992 and its share capital is EUR 1,750,071. The company's beneficial owners are Kirovs Lipmans, Anna Lipmane and Filips Lipmans.
