Latvia: Wholesaler Eugesta Un Partneri turnover increases 21.4% in 2019

Cosmetics, household chemicals, food and beverage wholesaler Eugesta Un Partneri achieved EUR 80.706 mln in turnover last year, which is 21.4% more than in 2018, while the company's profit increased by 63.4% to EUR 1.025 mln, according to Firmas.lv writes LETA.

The company's management report says that Eugesta Un Partneri launched cooperation with several new partners in the first and second quarters of last year, which contributed to the increase in turnover. In the third quarter, the company acquired shares in the Estonian company Kafo.

 

The management report also states that last year Eugesta Un Partrneri continued investing in fixed assets to improve and expand its business in information technology, logistics, coffee technology, as well as making intangible investments in brands; the company's investments amounted to over EUR 560,000 last year.

 

The management report says that not all goals set for 2019 were achieved as the profit was smaller than projected.

 

In the future, Eugesta Un Partneri plans to continue automation of processes and prepare for the introduction of new IT systems at the company and its warehouses.

 

The state of emergency in Latvia declared to contain the spread of Covid-19 has had a minimum impact on Eugesta Un Partneri, but due to the current uncertainty it is impossible to predict how the virus will affect the company in the future.


Eugesta Un Partneri was registered in 1996 and has a share capital of EUR 142,287. The company belongs to Lithuania's KS Investicija (90%) and Andris Pimanovs (10%).
