Very small enterprises get EUR 53 mln in state assistance in Lithuania

Very small Lithuanian enterprises with up to nine employees have been paid out over 53 million euros in state assistance, half of the planned amount, the country's Economy and Innovation Ministry says, cites LETA/BNS.

Over 22,900 applications had been received by Monday nigh, and 53.3 million euros have already been paid out, and another 54.4 million euros have been allocated under the ministers' orders.
Businesses an ask for state assistance as of May 12 and the money is paid in three days after the application is received. The total amount planned for state subsidies stand at 100 million euros.
The total value of assistance provided to one business (including other instruments) cannnot exceed 200,000 for the past three tax years.
