Kari Forssten, chairman of the board responsible for Indoor Group's business in the Baltic countries, said that Indoor Group used to have several stores in Latvia until 2010 and that judging by feedback and analyses there is still demand in that country for the product range of the Asko and Sotka chains.

"Alongside opening online stores, we are exploring also other sales opportunities, especially in the Riga area," Forssten said.

"We opened a rejuvenated online store in Estonia already last spring, today we have reached Latvia, and we are looking hopefully also towards Lithuania," Andres Nomme, manager responsible for sales and marketing at Indoor Group AS, said.

Asko and Sotka at present have eight stores plus online stores in Estonia. In Finland the two brands have some 90 stores taken together, as well as e-stores.
