The International Black Sea Transport Forum 2009: 21-23 October 2009

Within the framework of the Forum there were next international events: the 10th international exhibition “TransUkraine 2008”, specialized exhibition “Container. Service. Transportation 2008”, specialized exhibition “Warehouse technologies 2008”, specialized exhibition “TransRail Ukraine 2008” and the 11th international conference on transport and logistics “Ukrainian transport strategy development. Ways of development of transport infrastructure development in Ukraine and abroad.” Holding of these events in block is dictated by development of transport infrastructure as a whole.
This year the Forum gathered 150 companies-participants. During three days the exhibitions attracted more than 2500 specialists in the field of transport and representatives of East-European ports.
Many years experience of organizers in is combined here with competent approach to participation of exponents, and becomes “practical” event, where everybody wins. Due to uniting of the exhibitions into the Forum organizers have possibility to create comfort conditions and give all necessary services to participants of the exhibitions. Here they create and form image of their companies, get new business contacts, buy and sale necessary equipment, many companies propose different complex of services in the field of transportation “from door to door”.
Also we cannot but mention constant participants of the Forum: National company “Kazakhstan Temir Zholy”, company MTZ “Transmash”. There were presented such ports as Berdyansk, Kherson, Yuzhny, port Aktau, such companies as Innospec Ltd (Germany), Intereuropa (logistics services, Slovenia), Kirov Ardelt (Germany), Consigliere, Bauer Maschinen GMBH, Volvo, Titan Containers International A/S (Sweden-Romania), PKP LHS (Poland), FESCO (container operator of full circle), Soder (materials for welding, Italy), Arm-Group (official importer of New Hollnad technics, exclusive representative of Zoomlion and trucks Astra), Association of international forwarders BAIF, Budmash (producer of building technics), Vialtis (specialists in the field of transport service), GEFCO (logistics services), Ingproject (distributors of Kalmar Industries Oy, Finland), Master-Profi-Ukraine, Odessa railway, Association “Ukrport”, Tbilisi electric locomotive building plant (Georgia), and other companies. They presented transport, forwarding, logistics, custom, warehouse services, consulting.
Joseph Vinsky, Minister of transport and connection of Ukraine: “Holding of the Forum, which unites more than 10 countries, give opportunity to know work of Ukrainian and foreign ports, novelties of transport and warehouse equipment… Participants of the Forum present different aspects of transport and logistics, that lets form complex vision of transport branch development in different countries and introduce the best developments in Ukraine.”
Nikolay Serdyuk, Head of Odessa regional administration: “Position of Odessa region on the crossroad of international transport corridors, powerful ports-industrial complex with developed auto- and railway communication gives opportunity to the region to become the most important transport link in economics ties between Europe and Asia, Middle east countries and Russia. In connection to all mentioned I am glad to mark that the International Black Sea Transport Forum became the event which united social and private sectors in a search of innovation methods for the regional transport infrastructure improvement. That is the most important task for our region.”
The Forum was held under official support of Ministry of transport and connection of Ukraine, Ministry of industrial policy of Ukraine, Black Sea International ship-owners association (BINSA), Association of Ukrainian ports “Ukrport”, International association on dangerous cargo and containers (Russia), Ukrainian logistic association, Black Sea regional association of shipbuilders and ship repairs (BRASS), Black and Azov sea ports association (BASPA), European union of transport workers of Ukraine, Odessa regional administration, Odessa city administration.
Nowadays organizers of the Forum started to prepare business program for 2009 and invite you to participate in the International Black Sea Transport Forum 2009. which will be held in October 21-23, 2009 in Odessa.

More than 10 years on the market of transport technologies and logisticsOn October, 21st-22nd on the territory of Odessa marine passenger terminal there will be held the regular International Black Sea Transport forum. In the context of this forum there are different of events, including the 12-th international conference "Transport strategy of Ukraine. Experience of transport infrastructure of Ukraine and abroad "(October, 21st-22nd).
During many years the conference on transport and logistics gives the opportunity for companies to present theirs potential as perspective, competitive and equal members of International market. Every year the number of the conference participants grows.
The 11th conference was going to cover important questions in the area of logistics. (question of Ukrainian integration in the global system of International trade and traffic, appreciation of the importance of logistics on transport and development of logistics centers.) Also there was illustrated questions of port activity development, the use of the port capacity, development of railway and road-transport infrastructure, problems of safety, insurance and investment, etc.
