KP Factory OÜ that was established in 2009 for producing office supplies at Kohila in Estonia will take over the assets of AS Atlanta Office Products that closed down the paper factory in April, writes Äripäev.ee/LETA.

The new company concluded a relevant contract on Wednesday, signed by the head of KP Factory Kuno Pingmaa and former member of the management board of Atlanta Office Products and the current liquidator of the enterprise Tarmo Kallast.

Pindmaa emphasised that the re-launch of production at Kohila is due to the group’s need to head to external markets. He also noted that emotionally, the enterprise feels great responsibility that is connected to continue the historic operations of the Kohila paper factory.

“In order to guarantee the sustainability of the factory, we will pay more attention to product development,” said Pindmaa.

Atlanta Office Products BV closed down the factory in Kohila in April this year, leaving 180 people out of work.

KP Factory is a subsidiary of OÜ Charlot, an enterprise based on Estonian capital and focussing on retail sales and wholesale of office products and school supplies, office technology and office furniture.
