Bookinghouse.ee customers most frequently fly to London

This years results came rather different compared to the most popular locations during the last year. In the first half of 2008 customers of “Bookinghouse.ee” most frequently flew to Paris, Amsterdam, Rome, Vilnius and Athens.
According to “Bookinghouse.ee” statistics, the average number of days between ticket reservation and departure has decreased by 22%. During the first half of 2008 customers of “Bookinghouse.ee” usually bought their tickets 45 days prior to departure. While in 2009 the average number of days is 35.
The number of days before the departure has decreased by 33% in Latvia and is now 33 days. Meanwhile in Lithuania it has decreased by 24% meaning that customers usually book their flights 30 days in advance on average.
“During the turmoil of financial crisis customers are less certain about their future. Because of that, people tend to avoid planning trips early and buy tickets only when they are sure about their plans.”, – said BC Vladas Sapranavicius, director of UAB Interneto partneris, a company, located in Lithuania, which manages “Bookinghouse.ee”.
