Itella plans cuts and changes, including Baltic units

Finland-based postal company Itella aims to cut 350 jobs; approximately 60 employees could be made redundant at units outside Finland, the news portal YLE said in a statement, informs LETA.

The negotiations affect some 1,500 people, mainly working in administration, expert or management positions.

 

The changes planned will affect centralized and decentralized Group Functions, Itella Mail Communications and Itella Logistics units in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland.

 

The company plans to save 100 million euros by 2013-2014.
