Car leasing market continues to grow in January in Lithuania

Print versionAccording to the data of company Autotyrimai, 1,159 new cars were sold in January 2013; it is by 5% more than year-on-year (1,106). 987 cars were sold for personal use and 172 for commercial, writes LETA/ELTA.

Volkswagen was the most popular car brand sold in January (175 cars). The other popular brands were Fiat (111 cars) and Peugot (108 cars).
Among the models, Fiat 500 was the first on the popularity list 72 cars sold, Peugeot 208 – 54 cars and Skoda Yeti – 51 cars.
44% of cars were bought on leasing. Last year the rate was 1% down. Last month 510 cars were leased. It is 7% more year-on-year (475 cars).
