Baltic States will start looking into creating a joint venture for Rail Baltica

Print versionA contract was concluded on Thursday between the Estonian Technical Supervision Board and the common bidders, law offices Tamme Otsmann Ruus Vabamets, Zverinatu advokatu birojs Triniti (Latvia) and advokati profesine bendrija Triniti LT (Lithuania) on carrying out the study for forming a joint venture for Rail Baltica, LETA/Postimees Online reports.

The study will analyse the main economic and legal aspects connected to founding the joint venture that would manage the Rail Baltic 1,435 mm rail width route and the documents necessary to found the company would be compiled.
The deadline for competing the study is 80 days from concluding the contract. The total cost of the contract is 118,440 euros.
