Ship connection between Kotka, Kunda and Kronstad discussed

Print versionA new ship route planned to connect Kotka in Finland, Kunda in Estonia and Kronstad in Russia is being discussed at a meeting in St Petersburg, LETA/Public Broadcasting reports.

An initial agreement on finding out the possibilities of the Kunda – Kronstadt – Kotka ship route was concluded in August. In the next three days, topics to be discussed in St Petersburg include also distribution of tasks for carrying out the necessary studies.
Things to be investigated include who the regular clients of the ship route would be and what cargo transport possibilities there are.
