Passenger traffic in Lithuanian airports up by 21 pct, June

The majority of passengers arrived and departed from the United Kingdom (350,400 - 23.6 percent), Germany (166,000 - 11.2 percent), Latvia (101,300 - 6.8 percent), Denmark (93,900 - 6.3 percent) and Ireland (91,600 - 6.2 percent).
Compared with January-June 2011, 46.2 percent more passengers arrived and departed from the United Kingdom, 31.7 percent - Germany, 15.6 percent - Ireland, 10.2 percent - Denmark and by 14 percent less from Latvia.
Most of the passengers, 93.2 percent (1.4 million.) arrived and departed on scheduled flights. Compared with the last year, the flow has increased by 25.2 percent.
During the first half of this year Lithuanian airline aircrafts transported 244,800 passengers, 38.9 percent more year-on-year, reported ELTA/LETA.
