Citadele lizings un faktorings wins the right to lease 90 cars to Latvian State Police

Print versionCitadele lizings un faktorings has won the right to lease a total of 90 automobiles to the State Police over the next five years; procurement of another 120 automobiles has been halted since it is necessary yet to clarify technical specifications, according to information available on the Procurement Monitoring Bureau's website.

Meanwhile, Karlo Motors, the official "Skoda" automobile dealer in Latvia, has contested the tender results. The complaint will be reviewed by January 24, writes LETA.
The procurement commission decided on December 22, 2011 to authorize the Interior Ministry's State guarantee Agency to sign an EUR 3.7 million (LVL 2.6 million) contract with Citadele lizings un faktorings on lease of 90 cars for the State Police's needs. The respective announcement was published on the Procurement Monitoring Bureau's homepage on December 29.
On the other hand, the announcement about Karlo Motors complaint was posted on December 30.
