Prince Albert II will compete at Tallinn-Monte Carlo electrical cars rally

The patron of the Tallinn–Monte Carlo electrical cars rally that will take place this June is Monaco’s Prince Albert II, who will participate at the Tallinn leg of the event, LETA/Postimees Online reports.

A dozen electrical cars of different producers will compete at the rally that passes 8 states and 4 cities – from street cars to sports cars.

 

The Tallinn event of the rally takes place on June 2.

 

“The ten-day electrical cars marathon will connect Northern and Southern Europe, making people to think about the need of emergence of environment friendly highways network together with suitable charging points and cooperation of different regions. Monaco’s Prince Albert II is one of the spokespersons of that subject in Europe,” said Monaco’s honorary consul in Estonia and chief organiser of the rally Jüri Tamm.

 

The marathon that takes place on June 2-11 pauses the following cities: Tallinn, Helsinki, Turku, Stockholm, Norrköping, Jonköping, Strömsnäsbruk, Malmö, Kopenhaagen, R¸dby, Puttgarden, Lübeck, Hamburg, Hannover, Kassel, Grünberg, Heidelberg, Baden-baden, Freiburg, Zürich, Bern, Lausanne, Genf, Aymavilles, Torino, Cuneo and Monte Carlo.
