Norwegian MollerGruppen acquires Estonian car dealership Saksa Auto

Moller Auto Baltic AS, which belongs to Norway’s largest car dealership MollerGruppen, will acquire all shares of Volkswagen dealership in Estonia AS Saksa Auto, LETA/Postimees Online reports.

Currently Saksa Auto belongs to holding company Eesti Talleks in which businessman Andres Sarri has a major stake.

 

The transaction will be completed after the Competition Board approves of it. The parties did not reveal the cost of the transaction.

 

Moller Auto Baltic AS will also have governing stakes in Saksa Auto’s subsidiaries AS Suve Auto in Pärnu, AS Viru Rahvaauto in Jõhvi, AS Linna Auto in Viljandi and 5+ Autoteenindus OÜ and AS Autohaus Holding. It will acquire 50% of AS Aasta Auto Pluss in Tartu.

 

MollerGruppen is a family company involved in import retail sale, maintenance and financing of Volkswagen, Audi and Skoda vehicles. The group’s subsidiary Auto Group Baltic is since 2005 the importer of Volkswagen in the three Baltic States.

 

Saksa Auto’s turnover in 2010 was 32 million EUR and the group has 200 employees.
