Print versionLithuania and China introduced a new air cargo route between Kaunas and Shanghai, The Lithuania Tribune reports.

The route was opened on Tuesday with a IL-96 freighter landing in Kaunas International Airport, writes LETA/ELTA.
The route is going to be the first air cargo route of such scale not only in the Baltic States but in the Eastern and Central European region.
Hoptrans Logistic will operate the service which is the only cargo handling company at the Kaunas airport.
