Celebrating this milestone, Ryanair's Laszlo Tamas, Sales & Marketing Manager UK & Ireland & CEE said BC:
"Ryanair is delighted to celebrate its 4millionth customer at Riga airport. Since our operation started back in 2004 we saw a continuous traffic development moreover Ryanair became one of the most important player in the Latvian tourism. In the first 4 months of 2010, we carried already 273.000 passengers at Riga Airport, 8% more than in the same time last year.
We see that our passengers have acknowledged the value of Ryanair and despite the recession Ryanair’s traffic continues to grow month on month as consumer savvy passengers opt for Ryanair’s guaranteed lowest fares, best on-time performance and no fuel surcharge over financially flaky, high fares, fuel surcharging airlines.”
To celebrate this milestone Ryanair is offering 1.000.000 flights for 6.99LVL* to a list of routes across our network including Oslo Rygge, Stockholm, Brussels and Tampere. This amazing offer is available to book until Monday midnight. Demand on these routes will be huge and our advice to passengers is to book your Ryanair flights today on www.ryanair.com and make sure you don’t miss out”
*Blackout periods apply; Terms and conditions apply, fares are one way including taxes & charges.
Ryanair offers 14 routes from Riga Airport – Dublin, Glasgow, Liverpool, East Midlands, Bristol, London Stansted, Brussels, Milan, Bremen, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Stockholm, Oslo and Tampere.
