airBaltic launches Vilnius-Amsterdam direct flights

As of this Monday, the Latvian airline airBaltic launches direct flights from Vilnius to Amsterdam. Up until now, airBaltic have carried passengers to the capital of the Netherlands from Riga Airport only.

According to airBaltic, the first flight received quite a lot of attention as 92 passengers had flown to Amsterdam in the morning of January 4. This number of passengers accounts for almost 77% of seats in the plane Boeing 737-500 of total 120 seats. airBaltic will operate Vilnius-Amsterdam flights four times a week: on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, reports ELTA/LETA.
After a week, on January 11, airBaltic will resume direct flights from Vilnius to Rome. The company's plane will flew to the city on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
