Bus dealer M.E.LAT-LUX becomes general representative of Mercedes-Benz

M.E.LAT-LUX started cooperation with EvoBus in 1999 by becoming the representation of Setra buses in Latvia. Based on this long-term cooperation, EvoBus offered M.E.LAT-LUX to also become the general representative of Mercedes-Benz buses in Latvia and Lithuania.
As the general representative, M.E.LAT-LUX sold the first Mercedes-Benz Tourismo bus to Talsu Autotransport transport company.
In 2017, M.E.LAT-LUX raised turnover by 55.4% year-on-year to EUR 19.034 million, while its profit grew 60% to EUR 420,634.
M.E.LAT-LUX is a bus dealer and also the general representative of EvoBus, a company of Daimler Group, in the Baltics.
According to information available at Firmas.lv, M.E.LAT-LUX was established in 1992. The company’s sole owner is businessman Maris Gailis.
