Toomas Uibo becomes chief of corporate sales at Nordica

Toomas Uibo, who was released from the position of member of the supervisory board of Nordic Aviation Group last week, has assumed the duties of chief of corporate sales at the airline operating under the Nordica brand, reports LETA/BNS.

Toomas Uibo started work as chief corporate sales officer at Nordica in January 2017. His day-to-day duties have to do with the customer base of Nordica and expanding it, as well as developing relevant services, but are not related to operating of flights or the hiring and training of pilots, spokespeople for Nordica told.


Minister of Economic Affairs and Infrastructure Kadri Simson on Friday recalled Uibo from the supervisory board of  Nordic Aviation Group AS. Uibo had tendered his resignation from the supervisory boad on Jan. 15.


Uibo has served on the supervisory boad of Nordica since the company's establishment. Media have previously reported about Uibo's connection with the company Nordic Aviation Academy, which engaged in cooperation with Nordica.
