Loss of Estonian Railways to rise to EUR 9 mln in 2015

The revenue of Estonian Railways is seen to decrease to 45.7 million euros from 55.4 million euros a year earlier but is expected to grow to 66.3 million euros in 2016, it appears from the 2014 consolidated report of companies, foundations and non-profit organizations in which the state has a stake drawn up as of the end of October.
In 2017-2019, the revenues of the company are seen to amount to 65.4-66 million euros. The profit is predicted to reach 11.4 million euros in 2017, 11 million euros in 2018 and 10.8 million euros in 2019.
The investment need of the company will grow from this year's 17.1 million euros to 43.1 million euros next year and exceed 40 million euros also in the next two years, falling to 37.5 million euros in 2019.
Debt liabilities of Estonian Railways are expected to amount to 99.2 million euros in 2016, 108.7 million euros in 2017, 118.1 million euros in 2018 and 127.5 million euros in 2019.
According to the forecast the revenue of EVR Cargo will this year fall to 63.2 million euros from the year-earlier 73.5 million euros. Thereafter the revenue will start to grow, reaching 68 million euros next year, 68.9 million euros in 2017 and 69.9 million euros in 2018. The revenue is expected to cross the 70 million euro mark in 2019.
The profit of the company is seen to grow at a very modest rate. The 2016 profit forecast is 69,000 euros. It will be followed by a small loss of 29,000 euros in 2017. In 2018 the company is expected to make a profit of 951,000 euros and in 2019, 771,000 euros.
EVR Cargo will need to invest 10.6 million euros next year and 7.6 million euros in 2017. Investments are forecast to total 6.9 million euros in 2018 and 7 million euros in 2019. The company's debt burden will rise above 70 million euros next year and remain at that level in the next three years as well.
