The first to adopt the new Circle K brand are Norway and Sweden, in May 2016.
Statoil Eesti head Kai Realo explained that the need to replace the Statoil brand at one point with a new one became clear and was announced to the public three years ago when Canadian group Couche-Tard bought Statoil's service stations in Europe.
Since it is a brand change, not change of ownership, generally everything remains unchanged for clients as well as our nearly 600 employees, said Realo.
