Vilnius walking tours to start from May 15

Print versionThe walking tours season will open in the capital of Lithuania on May 15 to introduce the city, its history, and main tourism attractions to persons who are interested to get to know the city better, the Vilnius Tourism Information Center reports.

The tours "Discover Vilnius Old Town" will take place until September 15.
The excursions take place on regular basis during the tourism season, and last two hours in Russian, English, German and Polish, reports LETA/ELTA.
In 1994, the Old Town of Vilnius was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The largest Old Town in Eastern Europe is architecturally the richest part of Vilnius. Almost every style of architecture can be found: from Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, Classicism to Post-Modernism.
