The family consisting of two adults and two children, all of them
citizens of Estonia, wanted to enter Ukraine via a checkpoint in the district
of Dzhankoi. The family were convinced that as EU citizens they don't need a
visa to enter Ukraine.
Ukrainian border guards refused to let them
into the country because they wanted to enter Ukraine from annexed Crimea.
