Estonians won an international architectural contest on Marriott Hotel in Riga

The competition was organised by the hotels chain Marriott International in co-operation with the Latvian Association of Architects in order to design a new hotel of 180 rooms in the Old Town of Riga.
The total cost of the project will be 35 million euros and the construction works ought to start next year.
This is the first known case where Estonian architects win an international architectural contest abroad.
