Lithuania's real estate market slowed down in November

Lithuania's real estate market traditionally slowed down in November 2017 from October, with the decline reported in all segments. Nevertheless, more real estate units changed hands in November year-on-year, the Center of Registers said, cites LETA/BNS.

According to preliminary figures, nearly 10,600 buildings, premises and
land sites changed hands in sales deals in November, which is a drop by 3.2%,
from 10,900, in October but a rise by 5.2%, from 10,100, in November of 2016.
Over the first 11 months of 2017, 114,300 real estate objects were sold in
Lithuania, which is up by 3.5%, from 110,400, in January-November last year.
Apartment sales were virtually unchanged year-on-year at 30,900, those of
individual houses went up by 7.6% to 9,700 and land sites climbed by 6.3% to
57,300.
In November alone, apartment sales were up 7.9% to 2,895, individual houses
grew by 9.4% to 875 and land sites rose 3.4% to 5,347 year-on-year.
