Linas Agro Group received revenues of 747m litas in H1 of fiscal year 2008-2009

Print versionAccording to pre-audited data, in July-December 2008, the joint-stock company Linas Agro Group reached a consolidated turnover of over 747 million litas (215.25 million euros) and earned a pre-audited pre-tax consolidated profit of more than 32 million litas (9.22 million euros). The company started its fiscal year on 1 July 2008.

"Although Linas Agro Group is not a new company, yet it faced essential changes in its size and structure. Over the second six months of 2008, we transformed the group of companies into a holding Linas Agro Group and transferred it into Linas Agro, largest company of the group. Therefore, though our revenues increased, we cannot compare these financial results of Linas Agro Group with the same period of last year due to the implemented structural changes," CEO of the company Darius Zubas said ELTA.
