One of Estonia’s largest restaurant complexes in Ülemiste City will be renovated by NCC Ehitus AS. According to the construction contract in the amount of more than 1 million euros than was signed on March 13th, the construction works will be completed by September, informs BC Ülemiste City’s press service.

The dining place with approximately 1,800 sq metres and up to 370 seats will be located in Ülemiste City at Lõõtsa 6 in the premises of the former CityPlatz restaurant. The total investment cost is approximately EUR 1.6 million.

„The biggest project in the history of Ülemiste City has been the construction of triple towers at Lõõtsa 8a. NCC completed the project very successfully,” said Gert Jostov, chairman of the management board of Technopolis Ülemiste AS. „Our cooperation with the NCC Ehitus team has been going well and I believe that also renovation of the premises into one of Estonia’s largest restaurant complexes will also go without a hitch.”

„The construction project of triple towers of Ülemiste City has been one of the most interesting challenges for NCC Ehitus,” said Toomas Alle, CEO of NCC Ehitus AS. „Knowing that Ülemiste City always prefers most interesting technologies and building solutions, renovating the restaurant complex is definitely an exciting project. We will do our best to make sure that the people working in Ülemiste City can have their lunch in a modern dining place already in September.”

The new restaurant will offer Estonian, Mediterranean and French cuisine and the kitchen is ready to serve several thousand customers a day. Since its main load will be during lunchtime, the restaurant will focus on rapid customer service which includes easily accessible counters for distributing meals and 7 to 9 checkout points for serving customers. The operator of the new restaurant will be determined in the nearest few days.
