The new shopping centre on the Piltenes Street has two floors and a total of 2,677 square metres of shopping area, 1,422 square metres of which is used by Selver. Opening of the new Selver store will bring 33 new jobs in Kuldiga.

“Selver’s long-term success in Estonia is based on Selver’s special variety of products, high level of service and a well-known variety of products by Selveri Köök (Selver Cuisine). We are using the same concept here in Latvia, adjusting the product variety to suit Latvian customers,” said the managing director of Selver Latvia Uldis Priekulis.

At the end of last year, Selver opened stores in Ogre and in Rezekne in Latvia. Before the end of 2009, Selver will open three more stores: in Daugavpils, in Salaspils and in Aizkraukle.
