Engineers give Maxima the go-ahead to re-open its ''Sahara'' supermarket

Print versionMaxima Latvija has been given the go-ahead by independent experts to re-open its supermarket at the ''Sahara'' shopping center in Riga, LETA was informed by the company's press secretary Janis Beseris.

The experts have concluded that the safety of the building's construction is sufficient and is no threat to visitors.
As reported, after the Riga City Council's Construction Board establishing potential threats to load carrying capacity in the "Sahara" trade center at Lubanas Street 117A in Riga, retail chain "Maxima" has decided to close its supermarket in "Sahara" on December 6th.
