According to Verslo zinios, prospective buyers are being sought in all Baltic States. The price has not been set yet, and Alma Media is planning to sell the BNS Group to the buyer that bids the highest price.

Alma Media representatives have declined to comment, and the BNS news agency's director Jurga Eivaite has neither confirmed nor rejected this information.

Verslo zinios managed to contact Kauppalehti Oy Managing Director Juha-Petri Loimovuori, but he declined to confirm any sales plans for the BNS Group.

Verslo zinios also reports that several major media companies in Lithuania have been offered to consider purchasing the BNS Group.

The BNS Group owns the BNS news agency and media monitoring companies Mediaskopas, Mediju Monitorings, ETA Uudistetalituse.
