The international tobacco company British American Tobacco (BAT) announced in the beginning of this year about its plans to acquire the cigarette production unit of Danish Skandinavisk Tobakskompanig.
Value of the deal is estimated at DKK 20.3 billion and as a result, BAT acquires several companies, including Danish House of Prince, Norwegian J.L. Tiedemanns Tobaksfabrik and Swedish Fiedler & Lundgren.
