Lithuania's leading LNK TV buys Baltijos TV

Print versionUAB Laivas ir Nepriklausomas Kanalas (LNK) has bought TV channel Baltijos TV. Concern Achema Group who owned Baltijos agreed on selling all their share portfolio of the channel to LNK, informs LETA/ELTA.

"From all those interested in buying 100% of Baltijos TV shares, the price LNK offered was the highest, therefore, it was chosen as a buyer," said Arunas Laurinaitis, president of Achema Group.
CEO of LNK Zita Sarakiene stressed that even though the documents will be signed by January 31, the purchase will be completed only upon receipt of approval of the Competition Council and other relevant authorities.
The price of the transaction will not be revealed.
