Estonian newspapers saw circulation numbers fall in July

The circulation numbers of major newspapers in July 2012 was smaller than during the same month last year, writes LETA/National Broadcasting.

Postimees maintained its position as the most-read daily newspaper in July; on average, 53,400 copies were printed. During the same month last year, the newspaper’s print run was 55,700.

 

Õhtuleht’s print run in July was 51,300, a year ago it was 53,100.

 

The circulation of Eesti Päevaleht has fallen by 2,500 in a year, to 25,100.

 

The daily business newspaper Äripäev has grown 1,300 in a year, to 13,600.

 

The weekly newspaper Eesti Ekspress saw its circulation fall by 1,400, to 29,600 copies. Maaleht managed to increase its print run by 1,300 to 43,000.
