Cesu alus increased turnover by 10.85% in 2011; profit reduced

The joint-stock Cesu alus brewery increased turnover by 10.85% last year, reaching LVL 33.7 million, according to information on Firmas.lv. On the other hand, the company's profit reduced more than two-fold last year – from LVL 980,388 in 2010, to LVL 387,105 in 2011.

The company achieved LVL 30.4 million in turnover in 2010, reports LETA.

 

In 2012, the company plans to continue its long-term investment program and invest LVL 230,000 in production development.

 

According to the company's report, Cesu alus sold a total of 75.3 million liter of beverage products last year, which was 9% more than in 2010. The company increased its share in the local beer market by four% last year, reaching 30% of the total beer market in Latvia.

 

As reported, Cesu alus produces beer, beer cocktails, alcoholic cocktails, ciders, energy drinks, kvass, juices and non-alcoholic beverages.

 

99% of the company's shares with voting rights belong to the Finnish company Olvi Ooj.
