Four Estonian enterprises will take part in the joint visit of Estonia, Finland and Sweden to China in order to establish contacts with potential investors, writes LETA/Äripäev.ee.

The visit will take place from March 19 to 23 and in addition to Estonia, participants are from the Östergötland region in Sweden and from the Päijät-Häme and Uusima regions in Finland. The objective is to present the region as a whole, meet with Chinese entrepreneurs and authorities, establish contacts with potential investors and organise contact meetings.

“The total combined population of our regions is more or less the same as some urban neighbourhoods in Shanghai, but we have plenty of skills and know-how to offer,” said the Governor of the Östergötland County Elisabeth Nilsson who is the leader of the delegation.

The delegation will visit Shanghai, Wuxi and Nanjing. During the visit, an event titled “Nordic Room” will be carried out, resenting investment opportunities and making it possible for participating enterprises to introduce their services and products.

The Estonian companies involved in the delegation are Koiv Invest OÜ, Väinamere Teenindus AS, AS Tea Kirjastus and Sangla Juveelisalong AS. The joint visit is organised in the framework of the joint Estonian-Finnish-Swedish project BENCH, financed from the EU Central Baltic Sea programme.
