Raoul Langvee, a Canadian businessman who moved to Estonia in 2010, suspended plans to build a Tivoli-type theme park in Stroomi beach in Tallinn, the Estonian news portal BBN reports referring to Eesti Paevaleht.

The decision was made due to the unfavorable economic situation, writes LETA.

According to initial plan, Langvee wanted to open the park by 2013 on up to 20 hectares large area.

The project was estimated to cost around 40 million euros.

Langvee and his business partners Kalev Kallemets and Priit Aakre have been trying to find investors for the project in Latvia, Sweden, Russia and US.
